Crescent Elementary Robotics Teams Win at
the VEX World Finals in Dallas
Orange, CA – May 5, 2023
Crescent Elementary School has done it again! Crescent
Elementary School is proud to announce they have placed in several categories at the
VEX World Finals in Dallas. Our student-led teams ranged from 4 th grade to 6 th grade
students, coached by STEM Resource teacher Richard Ireland, showcased their game
strategy, design, and teamwork skills in Dallas Texas. Teams from all over the world
competed to be crowned champions at this world-class global event.
Crescent Teams won the following awards:
Build Award-4 th place
Innovate Online Award – 5 th place
Amaze Award – 8 th place
Teams came in 61 st , 74 th , and 158 th in world skills out of 6,000 teams.
Crescent is an elementary school with a biomedical focus within the Orange Unified
